Packet Step 1: Submit a Sponsor Application

To create your organization's annual School Nutrition Program sponsor application for the upcoming program year through your application packet:

1. Change the program year (if appropriate).
   1. Click Program Year next to your sponsor name.

      The CNPweb displays the Program Year Selection page.

   2. Click the desired program year.

      The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Summary - Packet page for the selected program year.

   If you change the program year, you must remember to change it back before starting other CNPweb tasks.

2. Display the Sponsor Summary - Applications page.
   1. Click the Applications menu.
   2. Click Sponsor Summary.

      The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Summary - Packet page.

   3. Click the Applications tab.

      The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Summary - Applications page.

3. Locate the sponsor application.
4. Click Add.

   The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Information Sheet.

5. Complete the Sponsor Information Sheet.
6. Click Submit.

   The CNPweb checks your application for input errors.

   If the CNPweb finds errors, it displays the Sponsor Information Sheet - Post Confirmation page with the Errors status. You must correct all errors and resubmit the form. For more information, see Correct Sponsor Application Input Errors.

   If the CNPweb finds no errors, it displays the Sponsor Information Sheet - Post Confirmation page with the Pending Submission status.

Notes:

• The CNPweb requires that you submit your organization's sponsor application before you can submit any other applications. The Add option is only available for the sponsor application at this time.
• If you are a renewing sponsor, your current sponsor application may contain some information from the previous year. You can edit the rolled over information.
• When you submit your packet for approval, it contains the original sponsor application.
• You submit your sponsor application for approval with the packet.
• If you changed the program year to the upcoming program year, change the program year back to the current program year before performing other CNPweb functions.
