Enrollment Basics

Your organization submits an application packet before the start of every School Nutrition Program program year. The CNPweb provides the tools that allow your organization to easily submit the required paperwork to your state agency. Your application packet identifies the required applications and other enrollment forms that the state agency requires from your organization.

Enrollment Process

Your organization completes the following general steps in the enrollment process:

  1. Submit your application packet. Before the start of the program year, your organization creates and submits its application packet by the deadline date provided by the state agency.
  2. Correct and resubmit a returned packet. During your packet review, the state agency may return one or more applications for correction. When this occurs, your organization corrects the forms and resubmits its packet.
  3. Revise application forms (as needed). Throughout the program year, your organization revises individual applications as changes occur in your organization. You submit revised applications, and the state agency reviews and approves them.

Application Statuses

The CNPweb tracks your progress through the enrollment process using application statuses. You can see at a glance your application packet progress, and see the outcome of the state agency review by checking the application statuses.

Application Revisions

The CNPweb keeps a revision history for every application form, and allows you to review the revision history at any time.
