Annual Financial Report Basics

Your organization submits an annual financial report after your submit your claim for your last operating month of the School Nutrition Program program year. The CNPweb provides the tools that allow your organization to easily submit the report to your state agency.

Report Process

Your organization completes the following general steps in the annual financial report process:

  1. Submit your report. After you submit your claim for the last operating month of the program year, your organization creates and submits its annual financial report.
  2. Correct and resubmit a returned report. During your report review, the state agency may return your report for correction. When this occurs, your organization corrects the report and resubmits it.
  3. Revise your report (as needed). After the state agency approves your annual financial report, you may need to revise it. You submit a revised report and the state agency reviews and approves it.

Report Statuses

The CNPweb tracks your progress through the report process using statuses. You can see at a glance your report progress, and see the outcome of the state agency review by checking the statuses.

Report Revisions

The CNPweb keeps a revision history for the annual financial report and allows you to review your review your revision history at any time.
