Correct Sponsor Application Input Errors

Each time you submit a sponsor application for a School Nutrition Program sponsor, the CNPweb reviews it for errors. You cannot submit a sponsor application that contains errors to the state agency for approval.

If you receive the Errors Detected message, you can choose to correct the errors immediately, or you can return to the CNPweb later.

Correct Errors Immediately

To open a sponsor application that contains input errors immediately after attempting to submit the form:

  1. At the Sponsor Information Sheet - Post Confirmation page, click to open the Sponsor Information Sheet Listing page.

The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Summary - Applications page.

  2. Click Edit.

The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Information Sheet with error messages visible.

  3. Correct all errors on the form and resubmit it.
  4. Repeat this process until you resolve all errors.

Correct Errors Later

If you cannot resolve the input errors at the time you submit the sponsor application with errors, you can open the sponsor application later.

To open a sponsor application that contains input errors later from your packet:

  1. Display the Sponsor Summary - Applications page.
  2. Locate the sponsor application.
  3. Click Edit.

The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Information Sheet with error messages visible.

  4. Correct all errors on the form and resubmit it.
  5. Repeat this process until you resolve all errors.
