Program Year

The CNPweb organizes School Nutrition Program information from your organization by program year. For each program year, the CNPweb keeps:

• Application packet and revised applications
• Claims and revised claims
• Annual financial report and revised reports

When you log on to the School Nutrition Program, the CNPweb requires you to select a program year. The selected program year displays on each page as part of the common page elements.

Occasionally, you must change the program year to complete a task.

For example:

• Near the end of program year 2007, you must complete your application packet for program year 2008.
• After the start of program year 2008, you may need to revise your 2007 annual financial report.

Change the Program Year

You can change the selected program year at any time during a session.

1. Click on Program Year (common page element).

   The CNPweb displays the Program Year Selection page.

2. Locate the desired program year in the program year list.
3. Click the desired program year number.

   The CNPweb changes the program year and displays the Sponsor Summary - Packet page for the program year.

Note:

• If you change the program year before you perform a task, remember to change it back.
• Your state agency maintains the list of program years. Their policies and procedures determine when they close a program year to downward revision claims.
