CNPweb Quick Access

There are two methods for easy access to the CNPweb from your own computer.

• Add a bookmark or favorites to your browser while on the Login page.
• Create a desktop shortcut that opens your browser to the Login page.

Desktop Shortcut

Internet Explorer lets you create a desktop shortcut for any CNPweb page currently displayed in the browser.

To create a desktop shortcut using Internet Explorer version 6 or later:

1. Display the login page in your browser.
2. Place your cursor anywhere inside the browser window.
3. Right click.

   The browser displays a menu.

4. Select Create Shortcut.

   The browser displays a shortcut confirmation window.

5. Click OK.

   Windows adds the shortcut to your desktop.

After you create the desktop shortcut, you can quickly access the CNPweb by double clicking the shortcut. Your computer automatically opens Internet Explorer and display the CNPweb login page.

• You can also create a bookmark, favorite, or desktop shortcut for the help system. You may want to mark specific topics within the help system for quick access.
