Correct Sponsor Information Sheet Input Errors

Each time you submit a sponsor information sheet for your organization, the CNPweb reviews it for errors. If the CNPweb finds errors, it notifies you because you cannot submit a sponsor information sheet that contains errors.

• If the CNPweb finds no errors, it assigns the appropriate status from the following: Pending Submission and Pending Approval.
• If the CNPweb finds errors, it notifies you. You must correct all errors before you can submit the application to the state agency for review and approval.

If you receive the Errors Detected message, you can choose to correct the errors immediately or you can return to the CNPweb later.

Correct Errors Immediately

To open a sponsor information sheet that contains input errors immediately after attempting to submit the form:

1. At the Sponsor Information Sheet - Post Confirmation page, click to open the Sponsor Summary page.

   The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Summary - Applications tab.

2. Locate the Sponsor Information Sheet in the list.
3. Click Edit.

   The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Information Sheet with error messages visible.

4. Correct all errors on the form and resubmit it.

Repeat this process until you resolve all errors.

Correct Errors Later

If you cannot resolve the input errors at the time you submit the sponsor information sheet with errors, you can open the sponsor information sheet later.

To open a sponsor information sheet that contains input errors:

1. Change the program year to the upcoming program year (if necessary).
   1. Click Program Year next to the program and your recipient agency name.

      The CNPweb displays the Program Year Selection page.

   2. Click the program year.

      The CNPweb changes the program year and updates the page display.

2. Display the Sponsor Summary - Applications tab.
   1. Click the Summary menu.
   2. Click Sponsor Summary.

      The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Summary - Applications tab.

3. Locate the Sponsor Information Sheet in the list.
4. Click Edit.

   The CNPweb displays the Sponsor Information Sheet with error messages visible.

5. Correct all errors on the form and resubmit it.

Repeat this process until you resolve all errors.

Notes:

• Use the validation messages on the form to correct the input errors.
• If the Edit option is not available, you cannot make changes to this form. For more information, see Enrollment Form Tasks.
• When you submit the sponsor information sheet, even if it contains errors, the CNPweb updates the Sponsor Summary - Applications tab.
• The CNPweb uses yellow highlighting to show changes on the form.
• If you changed the program year to correct errors on an enrollment form for the upcoming program year, change the program year back to the current program year.
