Warehouses

Your state agency uses a network of warehouses to hold products from the USDA for the Food Distribution Program sponsors. The network consists of warehouses operated by the state or commercial warehouse under contract to your state agency, depending on your state agency's policies and procedures.

Servicing Warehouse

Your organization receives products from a warehouse known as your servicing warehouse. This warehouse holds your organization's inventory and ships products to fill your orders.

The state agency allows your organization to place orders for your inventory at the servicing warehouse over time. However, if you keep inventory at the servicing warehouse longer than your state agency policy allows, you will be charged excess storage fees and may lose your inventory.
