Food Distribution Program products fall into two general categories.

BB/End products are used by the sponsors in the form they arrive from the USDA.
Raw products are used to make other products.

Entitlement Draw

Your organization spends entitlement dollars for each product allocation. The allocation calculates the entitlement draw for the allocated product quantities. If your organization refuses all or part of a product quantity, the CNPweb recalculates the entitlement draw.

Fees and Invoicing

Your state agency invoices sponsors for product-related service fees. The invoice includes administrative, processing, and storage fees not covered by your entitlement dollars.

The state agency has two methods for collecting fees:

Invoicing. The state agency invoices the sponsor for the expense and the sponsor pays by check.
Reimbursement. The CNPweb records the expense amount and subtracts it from the sponsor's reimbursement amount from another child nutrition program.
