Direct Diversion Allocations
Your state agency creates direct diversion allocations for products shipped directly from the USDA to processors and then to your organization. The direct diversion allocation performs these functions:
- Identifies the product quantities allocated to your organizations.
- Charges your organization for the entitlement cost of the product quantities.
- Invoices your organization for the related service fees (as appropriate).
Notes:
- Each direct diversion allocation includes product quantities allocated under one Food Distribution Program subprogram. If your organization participates in more than one subprogram, you may see multiple allocations for the same product shipment.
- Direct diversion allocations use the "Dvrsn" allocation code and appear on the Sponsor Summary - Allocation tab.
