Entitlement Commodity Type

The entitlement commodity type is the most common commodity type in the Food Distribution Program.

Your organization uses entitlement dollars to pay for the product costs.
Your organization may use the invoice or reimbursement payment options for the related service fees.

Each time the state agency allocates products to your organization in the entitlement commodity type, the CNPweb draws the appropriate entitlement and creates the invoice for the related product fees.

The following table identifies the product expenses and payment options for entitlement commodities:
