CNPweb Quick Access

There are two methods for easy access to the CNPweb from your own computer.

• Add a bookmark or favorite to your browser while on the Login page.
• Create a desktop shortcut that opens your browser to the Login page.

Desktop Shortcut

Internet Explorer lets you create a desktop shortcut for any CNPweb page currently displayed in the browser.

To create a desktop shortcut using Internet Explorer version 6 or later:

1. Display the login page in your browser.
2. Place your cursor anywhere inside the browser window.
3. Right-click.

   The browser displays a menu.

4. Select Create Shortcut.

   The browser displays a shortcut confirmation window.

5. Click OK.

   Windows adds the shortcut to your desktop.

After you create this desktop shortcut, you quickly access the CNPweb by double-clicking the shortcut. Your computer automatically opens Internet Explorer and displays the CNPweb login page.

• If you need help creating quick access tools, consult your organization's help desk.
• You can also create a bookmark, favorite, or desktop shortcut for the help system. You may want to mark specific topics within the help system for quick access.
